By authorizing your email account, you can send and receive emails directly on our platform, such as important documents like proposals. Below are the simple steps for authorizing your email and some important notes.
1. Why Authorize Your Email?
After authorizing your email, you can send and receive emails directly on our platform using your email account without switching to other email clients. This will greatly improve your work efficiency while ensuring the security and consistency of your email content.
2. Steps to Authorize Your Email
Step 1: Select Your Email Provider
In "Settings - Proposal Sending", under the Email Settings module, click the "Add Sender" button.
Step 2: Enter Your Email Account
In the pop-up window, enter your email address and click the “Proceed to Authorization” button. If you use Gmail, Yahoo, or iCloud email services, the system will redirect you to an authorization page. Please log in with your email account and password. If your email has two-factor authentication enabled, please follow the prompts to complete the verification.
Step 3: Authorize Our Platform to Access Your Email
After logging in, you will see an authorization page asking whether to allow our platform to access your email. Please read the authorization details carefully and then click the "Allow" or "Authorize" button. This will grant our platform the permission to read and send emails.
Step 4: Complete Authorization
Once the authorization is complete, you will be redirected back to our platform. At this point, you should see a notification informing you that the email authorization was successful. You can now send and receive emails using your email account on our platform!
3. Common Issues and Solutions
Issue 1: Authorization Failure
If you encounter authorization failure, please check the following:
Ensure that your email address and password are correct.
If you are using a corporate email or a custom domain email, you may need to provide additional authorization for sending and receiving services. Please fill in the following information on the authorization page:
IMAP Password
This is usually your email login password. Some email providers may offer a third-party authorization password, which can be found in your email account settings.
SMTP Password
This is usually the same as the IMAP Password. Some email providers may offer separate third-party authorization passwords for IMAP and SMTP, which can be found in your email account settings.
IMAP HOST / Port
HOST and Port are usually automatically detected and filled by Nylas. If they are not automatically filled, please check your email account settings.

Check if your email has sending limits, such as daily email quantity limits or whitelist restrictions.
If you are using Gmail or Outlook, you may need to manually enable "Allow less secure apps" in your email settings (not recommended) or use an app-specific password.
If you are using other email services, please refer to the official documentation of your email provider to understand how to authorize third-party apps to send emails.
Issue 3: Unable to Receive Emails After Authorization
Ensure that your email does not have filtering rules set up that may mistakenly classify emails from our platform as spam.
If you are using a corporate email or a custom domain email, please contact your IT administrator to ensure that our platform’s IP address is not blocked.

Do not disclose your email account and password to others, including our customer support staff. We will never ask you for this sensitive information.
